Who we are
Power Close and power-close.com are made by Arabesque Labs Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 16408080, with our registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. You can reach us at hello@arabesquelabs.com.
The extension is free software
Power Close is free, and free software: you may use, copy, change and share it under the GNU General Public License, version 2. The licence, not these terms, sets out your rights to the software, and nothing here takes any of them away. Its source is on GitHub.
The store you install it from, the Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons or Apple's App Store, has its own terms too, which apply to how you get it from there.
Use it with care
Power Close does what it says: it closes every tab whose address matches what you type, in every window, pinned ones too unless you turn that off. It tells you how many before it does, so check that number. Your browser can bring closed tabs back (Reopen Closed Tab, or your history), but anything you hadn't saved in them, such as a half-filled form, may be lost.
No warranty
As the licence says, Power Close is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We make it carefully, but we don't promise it will be free of errors, work with every version of every browser, or always be available.
Our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Arabesque Labs Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of Power Close or this website, including lost tabs, work or data. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
This website
You may read, link to and share power-close.com. Its text, design and images are ours, except where they belong to others; please don't present them as your own. The names and logos of Chrome, Firefox and Safari belong to Google, Mozilla and Apple, and are used only to say where Power Close runs. How we handle personal data is in our privacy notice.
Changes
We may update these terms, for example when Power Close changes. When we do, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction, though if you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU you may also bring proceedings where you live.
